Poor Bond movie, terrible action scenes, dull characters, messy plotting, uninspired cinematography. Huge comedown from Casino Royale

This is the Bond of the Fleming books. Brutally efficient.

Closure to "Casino Royale" or not, this movie is just an all around poor effort. Why must all our action heroes suddenly have feelings? A darker James Bond just doesn't work. He's too busy schtumping Pussy Galore to get caught up in emotions!

This film has some very good action scenes. The story line is tricky and once I figured it out I liked it even more. I don't understand why so many people didn't like this film. Craig is a great Bond and I hope he keeps the franchise going.

Lots of chases and lots of fights. Inelegantly complex and confusing plot. Even the stunts are difficult to follow. Dull dialog (at times unintelligible, but perhaps due to the quality of the sound system at the theater).

Really more like "Bourne Lite." Entertaining enough. The "Tosca" production will offend all opera-lovers in the audience.

Very difficult to follow. Too many characters. Acting was good. Not a typical James Bond movie. Maybe the worst of all.

Old-School at its very best! This series can only get better. Craig has nailed Bond! Looking forward to the next one.

This wasn't the Bond of old. Usually fond of the bond. Gadgets, girls, secret villas, housing diabolical villains. Nadda to all. World dominant plan? Hide water in a hole and sell it. Ooooh, evil deeds indeed.

I seen this movie last week and I would count myself as a 007 fan but thought nothing of this one, I didnt like it at all. Dont think much of Daniel Craig either.
Older bonds are better -

One of the worst movies ever. Not due to the plot. The camera work was all blurry, and jiggly. If you tend to be an epileptic stay away from this one!

Absolutely the worst Bond movie of all time! Bring back the opening sequence with the dot...dot...dots left to right. Include the Bond Theme. Replace Judi Dench, and bring back a feminine Miss Moneypenny.

All attitude action and atmosphere but missing any of the characterization that made Daniel Craig's first Bond feel so new and interesting. There wasn't much script for him to work with. A let down, but watchable.

Just AWFUL!!! This was not a james bond but an active movie. Where were the oneliners? What was the plot? Did he say the classic line"Bond, James Bond"? What a waste of money and time! Don't see it.

Delivers the goods. Thrilling action, awsome visually, and Craig is excellent. A worthy entry.

Not only worst Bond film ever, one of worst movies I've seen a few years. Far too chaotic, almost like a rough edit of a movie; even cinematography was bad. Loved Craig, hated movie.

Great. Think the reviews who want "Roger Moore" style Bond back are the same that want a comic Dark Knight back.
I rather enjoy Daniel Craig's harder hitting Bond.

The long scene during Tosca was my favourite bit of this Movie, along with the Sienna horse race quick cut stuff. My main problem with this movie is the lack of dialogue, fun and sex.

Not the greatest Bond effort. The main theme was especially crappy. Where is Shirley Bassey when we need her.

Action too choppy. Characters not developed enough. The movie never slows down like it did in Casino Royale. That was a great movie and it is hard to follow, but this was not a great effort.

Thought this was a great addition to the reenergized bond franchise. I understand the mixed reviews due to a too short running time & lack of character development but QOS needs to be viewed as closure on Casino Royale as opposed to a standalone movie.
