It was much better than I expected. The plot was very well done. I read some complaints of it being a little slow, but it moved right along for me. I think all sci=fi/X men fans will enjoy it.

Even though Erik (Michael Fassbender) shows powerful emotions, all characters seem rather single-dimensional. I'd like to have seen Charles showing more understanding to Erik's plight and a more solid reason against violence.

Great. Possibly the best prequel ever, in terms of faithfully and entertainingly showing origins.

I left after the first 20 minutes, so maybe this review isn't so helpful. The problem was the lazy film-making. If you want some big, dumb fun, go see Fast Five. X-Men is just big and dumb.

i think this movie was great. however, i feel like it contradicted the overall storyline and events in the x-men series. but as an individual movie, it was very well done.
