I don't know why there has been bad press about this film. I was looking forward to it for many years when it was in its early discussion as a sequel. I am not easily pleased and this film hit the note as expected. Great job!!!

Enjoyed it, Mary is not as cool as Kurt and John Carpenter's direction was very tight in the '82 remake. Matthijs did allow the audience to maintain 'suspension of disbelief' and rolled the endstory right up to the doorstep of the 82 Thing
