Film had promise, but the holes in the storyline/screenplay were too large to be ignored. It's like the got about 70% of the way done and realized they had to get the film released and just rushed it through and out. I would pass on it.

This movie could have been so good but it was written by idiots who believe the audience are stupid. Poor writing, visual wolf attacks, dumb mistakes, standard "die one at time" fair. Dumb ending and end of credits ending. Bad.

You can't go wrong with Liam Neeson, but when it comes to 'The Grey', you might have to pass. There was very little entertainment value and the gripping of my seat never lasted long. Let the wolves drag you when the DVD gets released.

Stories of survival can be tremendously compelling, but this one isn't. The film-makers seem not to know anything about either wolves or wilderness survival.

A tonal poem of a man who lost the will to live and suddenly finds himself fighting for his life.
