Synopsis: Marvel Studios delivers the ultimate comic-book film, which ties together such characters as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) for a big-screen franchise team-up like no other. Show runner Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly) adapted and helmed the script by Zak Penn, which focuses on a superhero lineup put together by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to combat a hostile force out to destroy the world. Scarlett Johansson once again dons the Black Widow costume, with Jeremy Renner stepping into the role of ace archer Hawkeye. Tom Hiddleston also returns as Thor's ever-deceptive brother, Loki.

    Saw this movie two nights in a row. Once in 3D, once in 2D. I enjoyed it very much. It's a little long, but worth it.

    It stayed true to the characters and was well acted (Robert Downey is very good). Good plot with excellent humor. I think the X-men did a better job of making you 'feel' for the characters but very well done.

    Too much talking during most of the movie. Action was alright although the bad guys couldhave been a lot worse in look and character.

    Whilst good in its Genre as an Adaptation of a Comic Book, its also extremely overrated.These types of films are so hugely anticipated, that Fanboys will give it 10/10, even if its only fairly good.Wud also be average without Robert Downey.
