Style and style and more style. Plot's a little thin, and it could have been quite a bit better, but 7/10 for being something great to look at

Saw this and source code, liked both. Source Code I had figured out in under 10 min. Not Sucker Punch, I love a movie with layers and depth. Sucker Punch has both. those who like to be spoon fed definately don't bother to see this movie.

I so wanted to love this film, but good acting and jaw-dropping visual flare (and there's plenty of both on offer here) cannot lift the average script and weird anachronistic design choices above anything more than an explosive folly... A movie about strong female characters written, apparently from the perspective of a 12 year old boy... and that ain't ever going to go quite right.
