Beautifully filmed and acted. Taylor Schilling is mesmerizing as Dagny. Fans of Ayn Rand's book should love this film which took several decades to get made. The underlying political theme is dead on for our times.

Agreed David! A well produced film for a meager 10 million in production costs. The movie follows the book, but may seem slow to those who haven't read it. I look forward to Part II!!!

Great story, not enough of Ayn Rand’s philosophy.

It was Ok, but it could have been better cast.

For those who see the film not interested in its furtherance of anti-government politics, the acting is weak, the cast is a string of unknowns destined to remain so, and the production is fancy/cheap. Think: "I hate government" soap opera.
